RULES:

• Booths are assigned at our discretion. We make every effort to accommodate everyone.
• All items for sale must be marked appropriately.
• Receipts must accompany all items purchased before the item can leave the building.
• Receipts must bear a current date, your company name, and phone number.
• Animals must be healthy and free of disease. You are responsible for what you sell.
• No venomous animals.
• No illegal drugs or alcohol.
• Vendors are responsible for all permits and regulations as required by law.
• Due to insurance regulations, the public is not allowed inside the building outside show hours.
• We are waiving all late fees.

ELECTRICITY:

Electricity outlets provided via drops, the cost is $35. There are no wall outlets. If you need it, order it.

SETUP:

Friday – set up Noon-7pm. Doors will be locked at 7pm Friday.
Saturday – setup 7am-9am. Doors open to the public at 10am sharp. Doors lock at 6pm Saturday.
Sunday – Doors open at 9:30am for vendors.

SHOW HOURS:

Saturday – 10am-5pm, and Sunday – 10am-4pm.

RESALE PERMITS:

There are two separate Resale/Tax Permits required in Phoenix, Arizona. One is for the City of Phoenix, and the cost is $25. You can apply either in person, go online here, or call 602-262-6785, option 4, 1.

A second permit is required through the State of Arizona for $12, and you can get one here.

You will collect 8.3% sales tax on all items sold, and you will send the City of Phoenix 2.0% and the State 6.3% of the total collected.

ADVERTISING:

There are various Ad packets that you can select for an additional fee. The packets offer ways to advertise your business. Ad packets are linked from www.HerpWorldExpo.com. Designate your Ad level on the Application.

We can mail you professionally printed postcards to pass out to the public. Let us know how many you'd like.

PRIZES:

We ask vendors to provide items to give away during our show. It can be something like a small pet (with care sheet), pet carrier, food, gift certificates, mealworms, crickets, ceramics, shirts/hats, or whatever. The prize should have your business card attached. Your business name and show location is announced when your prize is awarded. When someone signs up on our mailing list, we give them a free prize ticket. Additional tickets can also be purchased. We use this mailing list to send post cards prior to each show.

RESERVATIONS:

• We will send a confirmation within 2-4 weeks prior to each show.
• Extra items must be ordered before Nov. 15.
• Booth space is non-refundable.
• We accept payments via PayPal. You may use your credit card or your PayPal account. Payments can be made upon the completion of our Vendor Application Form. Upon processing your application and making your payment, you have agreed that you have read the Show Rules and agree to abide by them.

AUCTION:

There will be a Live Auction at the Hilton Garden Inn on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 7pm, with a preview at 6pm. The auction will benefit PIJAC (Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council). The auction is open to the public. The hotel will validate parking for everyone. Thank you Hilton!

HOTEL:

The Hilton Garden Inn, 4000 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, AZ, 602-285-2930 (Susan Ory), offers a Vendor Special of $79 per night. Mention the "Herp World Expo Reptile Show" to get your discounted price. This place is somewhat challenging to locate, so please follow the directions carefully. The Hotel validates parking, even for the public. Note: Several rooms will be held until Nov. 10. If you reserve rooms after Nov. 10, we cannot guarantee discounts nor room availability.

DIRECTIONS TO THE HOTEL - Signage is poor, so make sure you check directions before traveling:

From the Arizona State Fairgrounds (1826 W. McDowell Rd.):
1. Start out East on Mc Dowell Rd. towards N. 18th Ave.
2. Turn left onto N. Central Ave.
3. Turn left onto Clarendon Ave.
4. The hotel is on your right, just past a parking area and an office building, numbered 4000. The parking area faces Central.

From the Sky Harbor Airport (3400 E. Sky Harbor Blvd.):
1. Go East on E. Sky Harbor Cir.
2. Turn Right toward Terminal 2/3/West Exit/24th St/Downtown Phoenix/Rental Car Return.
3. Turn Right onto E Sky Harbor Blvd.
4. Stay Straight to go onto I-10 W.
5. Take the 7th St. exit (Exit 145A).
6. Take the 7th St. North ramp.
7. Merge onto N 7th St.
8. Turn Left onto E McDowell Rd.
9. Turn Right onto N Central Ave.
10. Turn left onto Clarendon Ave.
11. The hotel is on your right, just past a parking area and an office building, numbered 4000. The parking area faces Central.

FOOD:

We provide free Hospitality Snacks Friday during set-up. We also provide free coffee and pastries Saturday morning at 7am. A concession stand will be open during the show selling hot dogs, corn dogs, fries, drinks, etc.
