SPACE RESERVATIONS:

SETUP:

Friday – set up Noon-7pm. Doors will be locked at 7pm Friday.
Saturday – setup 7am-9am. Doors open to the public at 10am sharp. Doors lock at 6pm Saturday.
Sunday – Doors open at 9:00am for vendors.

SHOW HOURS:

Saturday – 10am-5pm, and Sunday – 10am-4pm.

RESALE PERMITS:

Please bring a copy of your Seller's permit. If you need to apply for a California Seller's Permit (Regular or Temporary), Click Here

The current sales tax rate for San Jose is 8.25%, effective July 1, 2011.

ADVERTISING:

Our advertising campaign for all shows typically includes at a minimum: local newspapers and radio, HerpWorldExpo.com, Reptiles Magazine, Kingsnake.com, Twitter, vendor web sites, CraigsList.org, various animal forums, club sites, and Reptile Channel. We also order 20,000 professional postcards in full color, posters, discount coupons, and billboards.

Discount coupons are available at reptile/pet stores, and various outlet stores. If you'd like some coupons for your store, please let us know.

HOTELS:

The Hampton Inn, located at 55 Old Tully Road, San Jose, 408-298-7373, offers a Vendor Special for $79 a night. Mention the “Herp World Expo” or "Reptile Show" to get your discounted price. You can walk across the street to the Hampton Inn from the fairgrounds. There are other hotels in the area. If you need more choices, maps, or directions, please let us know.

PRIZES:

We ask vendors to provide items to give away during our show. It can be something like a gift certificate for a small pet (with care sheet), pet carrier, food, gift certificates, mealworms, crickets, ceramics, shirts/hats, or whatever. The prize should have your business card attached, and a complete description of the item. Your business name and show location is announced when your prize is awarded. When someone signs up on our mailing list, they receive a free prize ticket. Additional tickets can also be purchased. We send post cards to the list prior to each show.
